Description

Sweet Strawberry Brazilian Lemonade transforms the creamy Brazilian classic into a stunning pink drink bursting with fresh berry flavor. You blend ripe strawberries alongside whole limes, sweetened condensed milk, and ice-cold water to create a fruity, velvety drink that looks as gorgeous as it tastes. The strawberries soften the lime’s sharpness while adding a natural sweetness that makes every sip completely irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

4 small Persian limes, quartered (unpeeled)

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

3 cups cold water

2 cups ice cubes

1 tablespoon sugar (optional, adjust to taste)

Pinch of salt

Fresh strawberries and lime slices for garnish

Instructions

1. Wash the strawberries and limes thoroughly under cold running water.

2. Hull and halve the strawberries, then cut each lime into 4 to 6 wedges, keeping the peel on.

3. Add the strawberries, lime wedges, sweetened condensed milk, cold water, sugar if using, and a pinch of salt to a blender.

4. Blend on high speed for exactly 5 seconds — blending longer pulls bitterness from the lime peel.

5. Set a fine-mesh strainer over a large pitcher and pour the blended mixture through it, pressing gently to extract all the liquid.

6. Discard the pulp and peel solids remaining in the strainer.

7. Add ice cubes to the pitcher and stir gently to combine.

8. Pour into tall glasses filled with ice, garnish with a fresh strawberry and lime slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

Use ripe, fragrant strawberries for the best flavor — frozen strawberries work well too, just thaw them slightly before blending.

Taste before adding sugar — ripe strawberries may provide enough natural sweetness on their own.

Blend for no more than 5 seconds to prevent the lime peel from making the drink bitter.

For a deeper berry flavor, muddle the strawberries first before adding them to the blender.

Add 2 oz of strawberry vodka or tequila per glass for a cocktail version.

Serve immediately for the freshest flavor — the drink will separate and lose its vibrant pink color if left to sit too long.

Store covered in the fridge for up to 24 hours and stir well before serving.
